We are expanding our team and looking for a dedicated and professional Medical Receptionist to join us on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday.
The Practice
A busy gastroenterology practice established in Armadale by female doctors who believe in a collaborative approach for patients with gastrointestinal diseases. We foster a team environment and are highly supportive of each other.
We are offering a full time, Monday to Friday schedule. No overtime required, even if the doctors are running behind!
The Role
The Medical Receptionist shares front desk responsibilities and provides professional front-of-house service to all doctors, patients, and visitors. This role is primarily clinic-based with some remote work flexibility, and key responsibilities include:
Diary Management:
Managing schedules and appointments for multiple doctors.
Patient Services:
Greeting patients, managing the front desk, and answering phone calls.
Clinical Administration:
Arranging theatre lists, patient scheduling, and handling patient billing and accounts.
Communication:
Liaising professionally with GPs, hospitals,



and referring specialists.
About You
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
Specialist Experience:
Previous medical reception experience, with
gastroenterology experience strongly preferred
.
Software Proficiency:
Genie software experience is strongly preferred
(prior specialist medical software knowledge is a plus).
Communication:
Excellent phone manner and interpersonal communication skills.
Attention to Detail:
A keen eye for detail and high accuracy in administrative tasks.
Adaptability:
A multi-tasking personality who thrives in a energetic environment with fluctuating workloads.
Discretion:
Professional, friendly, and discrete with a strict commitment to patient confidentiality.
