We are seeking an experienced and reliable HC Truck Driver to join our team, delivering steel products to customers across the Perth metro area.

About the Role
n
You will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering steel products to customer sites, construction sites and other locations across the Perth metropolitan area.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Safely operating an HC truck for the delivery of steel products
n
Delivering steel to customer sites, construction sites and other locations
n
Loading and unloading steel in accordance with safe work procedures
n
Correctly securing and restraining steel loads
n
Completing pre-start checks and reporting any vehicle defects
n
Ensuring loads are transported safely and without damage
n
Completing delivery dockets and required paperwork
n
Communicating professionally with customers and site personnel
n
Maintaining a clean and presentable vehicle
n
Complying with all company, Chain of Responsibility and road safety requirements
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
n
n
A current HC driver's licence
n
Previous experience driving HC vehicles
n
Strong communication and customer service skills




n
A strong understanding of load restraint and load security
n
An understanding of Chain of Responsibility requirements
n
A proactive and safety-focused approach
n
The ability to manage delivery schedules and work autonomously
n
Strong reliability, punctuality and a good work ethic
n
The physical capability to perform the requirements of the role
n
Pride in maintaining your truck, equipment and presentation
n
n
Desirable
n
n
Previous experience transporting steel, structural products or similar heavy freight
n
Experience with crane trucks
n
Forklift experience
n
Experience loading and unloading steel products
n
Experience delivering to construction sites
n
