THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Project Manager
to lead complex technology transformation initiatives across business and IT environments, you will be responsible for delivering projects from initiation through to implementation, ensuring outcomes are aligned with strategic objectives, business requirements, budget, timelines, governance and risk appetite.
This role requires solid stakeholder management and leadership skills, combined with sufficient technical understanding to work effectively with architects, developers, infrastructure teams, vendors and senior business stakeholders.
This will be a
full time, 12-month fixed term contract
position based in our
Sydney CBD
office, with work-from-home flexibility (up to 2 days per week).
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology and business transformation projects.
Manage project plans, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies and reporting.
Coordinate cross-functional teams across technology, business, architecture, data and vendors.
Oversee development, integration, infrastructure, testing, release and transition to support.
Apply Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methods and ensure effective governance.




Facilitate workshops and provide clear reporting to executives and Steering Committees.
Ensure projects meet organisational standards, policies and operational readiness requirements.
TECHNICAL CAPABILITY
This is not a hands-on engineering or Kubernetes administration role. The Project Manager must, however, demonstrate sufficient technical depth to critically engage with architects and engineering teams, understand solution design, anticipate delivery dependencies and challenge technical risks, assumptions and decisions.
Strong knowledge of contemporary enterprise technology environments is required, including:
Cloud platforms, containerisation and Kubernetes orchestration.
Microservices, APIs and enterprise integration patterns.
CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and environment management.
Infrastructure, networking, security and identity management.
Databases, data integration and enterprise application platforms.
Jira and Confluence.
About You
Full, unrestricted Australian working rights.
8+ years' demonstrated experience as a Senior Project Manager within large enterprise environments delivering complex technology projects.
Experience delivering large-scale technology transformation or modernisation programs
Proven delivery across multiple technology teams, business functions, vendors and senior stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of technology delivery lifecycles and Agile,



Waterfall and hybrid methodologies.
Confidence managing substantial budgets, resources, vendors, risks, dependencies and executive governance.
Ability to interrogate technical information and translate it into clear commercial, operational and delivery impacts.
Strong executive communication, negotiation and stakeholder management capability.
Proven ability to lead delivery in complex, high-pressure and highly interdependent environments.
PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, SAFe, ITIL or comparable certifications and service management knowledge will be highly regarded.
