Penrith Panthers has an exciting prospect for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our busy kitchen team as a full-time Apprentice Chef.
The Opportunity
Kick-start your hospitality career with one of Australia's most recognised and well established sporting and entertainment brands.
As a full-time Apprentice Chef, you will undertake the nationally recognised SIT***** – Certificate III in Commercial Cookery while gaining valuable hands‐on experience through paid, full‐time employment with Panthers.
What You'll Be Doing
Working alongside qualified chefs and experienced hospitality professionals, you'll build practical skills within a large and diverse hospitality operation. Exposure to busy service periods, functions and events will provide a strong foundation for your future career and may lead to further opportunities across Panthers Group.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Assisting with food preparation and service
Supporting larder and fryer operations, with opportunities to progress to grill duties
Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic kitchen
Assisting with functions and banquets across the Club
Learning practical skills and industry standards from experienced hospitality professionals

You're enthusiastic, reliable and ready to begin your hospitality career. You'll also bring:
A genuine interest in food and the hospitality industry
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Punctuality, reliability and commitment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
PRIDE in your work and the confidence to show initiative




The ability to remain calm and work efficiently in a busy environment
A commitment to completing SIT***** – Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
Flexibility to work a full-time roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
