Registered Nurse – Surgical Services (3SW)

Work closely with the ANUM, NUM and a supportive nursing team in a busy surgical ward
n
n
3SW specialises in post-operative care for Colorectal and Hepatobiliary patients, with admissions coming through elective surgery lists, the Emergency Department, ICU, RMH @ Home, direct admissions and inter‐hospital transfers. Length of stay typically ranges from one to five days, though some patients require extended care due to the complexity of their condition or surgery.

As part of a close-knit nursing team, you will provide direct patient care, participate in safe and timely discharge planning, and work collaboratively across the multidisciplinary team.

About You
n
You are a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and at least 3 years' acute nursing experience. You also bring:
n

Strong clinical assessment, reasoning, problem‐solving and prioritisation skills
n
A commitment to delivering safe, high‐quality, person‐centred care
n
Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills
n
Reliability, initiative and a willingness to learn and develop
n

Desirable
n
n
Surgical nursing experience
n
Experience in Colorectal and Hepatobiliary nursing
