Our Conservation Programs, Heritage and Regulation (CPHR) Office of the Deputy Secretary team is seeking an Executive Support Officer to provide essential coordination and administrative support that keeps operations running smoothly.
You will deliver high‐quality executive and operational support across the Office, coordinating WHS reporting, travel approvals, GIPA and Standing Order 52 searches, operational reporting and project support.
The role also maintains key systems, including the CPHR INSITE page, Resource Hub and recordkeeping guidance.
Working across multiple teams, you will coordinate logistics for regional visits, support meeting preparation for Policy & Briefings and Operations, and manage enquiries and Deputy Secretary approvals through the shared mailbox.
You will also assist with a range of administrative tasks such as Extended Leadership Team coordination, journals, IT and facilities requests, and records management.
Your work contributes to effective governance, reliable processes and a well‐organised operating environment.
About You
You bring experience in administrative support or early‐career project roles, with strong organisation skills and attention to detail.
You can review documents for accuracy,
ensure compliance with templates and approvals, and manage systems and procedures that support business operations.
Proactive and adaptable, you are confident managing competing priorities in a fast‐paced environment.
You communicate clearly, build productive working relationships and apply sound judgement when navigating sensitive matters.
Your team-oriented approach, willingness to learn and problem‐solving mindset help ensure the smooth delivery of programs, reporting and governance activities.
