About This Opportunity
We are seeking qualified and enthusiastic Dietitians for senior roles across the WA Country Health Service. As a Senior Dietitian, you will plan, coordinate, deliver, monitor and evaluate dietetic services to a designated caseload of inpatient, outpatient and/or community clients within a regional location. You will also undertake supervisory and administrative duties and have the opportunity to broaden your clinical and professional skills.

Important Information To Note
This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time/Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time/Part Time, and Casual appointments, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
The panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications and will assess on a regular basis throughout the life of the pool.
Applicants will have the opportunity to indicate their preferred locations and availability for positions.
Applications will undergo an initial assessment of qualifications, experience and suitability for inclusion in the recruitment pool. Referees will be contacted as part of the assessment process.
Interviews will not be conducted as part of the recruitment process, but applicants may be contacted if additional information is required.
Applicants assessed as suitable will be placed in a recruitment pool for current and future vacancies across all WACHS sites. However, inclusion in the pool does not guarantee an offer of employment.
When vacancies arise, further assessment may be undertaken to determine suitability for appointment to a position.
Appointments may be made from this pool until 20/08/27.
Suitability Criteria
Suitability recognises that a range of factors contribute to merit, including skills,



knowledge, abilities, behaviours, ethical alignment and relevant operational requirements. The suitability requirements below are derived from the Job Description Form and define what will be assessed to determine your suitability for the role.
Applicants should address the following criteria in no more than 3 pages:
Describe your relevant clinical experience, high-level knowledge and skills across a range of dietetic assessment, treatment and evaluation practices.
Provide an example that demonstrates your high-level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills including your ability to resolve conflicts and negotiate effectively.
Describe your experience in clinical leadership, staff supervision and clinical governance as a senior member of the clinical team.
Provide an example of how you have planned, developed, implemented and evaluated a dietetic service or initiative, including how you applied quality improvement principles.
Other Essential Requirements
Evidence of tertiary qualification in Dietetics and evidence or eligibility for full membership of Dietitians Australia (DA) as an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD).
Availability to commence employment within the pool validity period (before 20/08/27).
