This is a full-time, office-based role ideal for an engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced, technically challenging environment where attention to detail and a practical mindset are highly valued.

About You

You're a degree-qualified structural engineer who can turn complex problems into practical, safe, and productive designs. With 5+ years' experience in industrial or heavy-industry environments, you've developed strong skills in structural analysis, steel and concrete design, and structural assessments, along with a collaborative approach to project delivery.

You're ready to take ownership of challenging projects where your technical judgement truly matters.

What You'll Bring

- 4-year Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an Australian University
- Professional membership of Engineers Australia (MIE Aust) preferred
- Minimum 5+ years' post-graduate experience in structural design, ideally within industrial, mining, or heavy-industry projects.
- Proficiency in structural design and analysis tools such as Space Gass, Strand7, Inducta, IDEA Stati Ca, or equivalent.
- Ability to interpret isometric drawings, detailed design documentation, and general arrangements.




- Strong understanding of relevant Australian Standards and the National Construction Code.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience conducting site inspections or structural audits.

What You'll be doing

- Develop practical, detailed designs for steel, reinforced concrete, and other structural systems across industrial and commercial projects.
- Review and verify designs to ensure compliance with Australian Standards and project requirements.
- Interpret drawings, scopes, and specifications to define key design inputs and deliverables.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, designers, and other disciplines to deliver high-quality, timely outcomes.
- Use software such as Space Gass, IDEA Stati Ca, Tedds, RAM Connections, Inducta, AutoCAD, Advance Steel, and Inventor to produce accurate and professional documentation.
- Support projects through occasional site visits, inspections, and structural audits as required.
