About the role

We are seeking an experienced Panel Beater to join the team at Andrews Collision Auto Repairs in Ingleburn, NSW. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition. As a Panel Beater, you will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, removing and reshaping body panels, and ensuring all work meets our high quality standards. This role is essential to our operations, as we rely on skilled tradespeople to deliver exceptional results for our customers and maintain our reputation as a leading collision repair specialist.

Key responsibilities

- Inspect and assess vehicle damage to determine repair requirements and estimate timelines

- Remove damaged body panels and components using appropriate tools and techniques

- Reshape and repair panels using specialised equipment, including panel beating tools and hydraulic systems

- Weld panels and components where necessary to restore structural integrity

- Prepare repaired panels for painting by sanding, filling, and priming as required

- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards, quality specifications, and customer expectations

- Maintain a safe and organised work setting, adhering to health and safety protocols

- Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and customers regarding repair progress and outcomes

- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used

What we're looking for

- Completed apprenticeship or formal qualification in panel beating or equivalent trade experience

- Proven experience as a Panel Beater in the automotive repair industry

- Advanced proficiency in using panel beating equipment, hydraulic systems, and welding equipment

- Strong knowledge of vehicle structural repair and restoration techniques





- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality repairs

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

- Valid driver's licence and willingness to test-drive vehicles when necessary

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

- Current RSA certification or equivalent where applicable

- Experience with modern vehicle materials and repair methods is highly desirable
