Our client, Young District Hospital & Community Health Services in NSW, is seeking a Registered Midwife to join their maternity team on a contract basis. This is a short-term prospect running for 6 to 12 weeks, with an ASAP start date. The role offers the chance to work in a birthing environment, supporting mothers and families during one of life's most significant moments.

- Contract position, 6 to 12 weeks, starting as soon as possible
- Hands-on birthing experience in a community health service setting
- Work alongside an established maternity team in Young, NSW

Preferred Requirements

- Current registration as a Midwife with AHPRA
- Demonstrated experience in birthing and labour support
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary maternity team
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills in a birthing environment
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of a community health service

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent qualification recognised by AHPRA
- Current CPR and emergency response certification
- Experience working in rural or regional health services is advantageous
