About the Opportunity

Based in Henderson, WA. The Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analysing detailed shipbuilding schedules for the contracted scope of work, ensuring activities are logically sequenced, resource-aligned where required, and integrated with program-level milestones and delivery commitments.

What’s Involved

- Develop, maintain, and control detailed shipbuilding schedules for contracted scopes of work in accordance with approved planning standards.
- Ensure schedules accurately reflect production work breakdown structures, timelines, budgets, progress, dependencies, and logic.
- Provide accurate and timely performance measurement and schedule reporting to internal and external stakeholders, including regular and ad hoc reporting requirements.
- Ensure stakeholders have access to relevant and reliable scheduling and performance data to support effective project decision-making.




- Develop accurate labour resource forecasts across active projects to support workforce planning and allocation.
- Provide managers with reliable scheduling and resource data to enable informed labour planning and project delivery decisions.
- Develop and maintain “what-if” scenarios to assess the potential impact of future projects, changes, delays, and alternative delivery strategies.
- Support and guide P6 users in effectively utilising the software, including schedule development, layouts, and reporting functionality, to maximise its capability across the business.

You’ll Need

- Experience in shipbuilding (ideal), defence or complex manufacturing
- Fully Primavera P6 literate, with minimum of 2 years’ experience
- Competent in Microsoft Office
- Effective communication skills
- Trade or relevant qualifications (desirable)
- Eligibility for a Defence Security Clearance
