Workfast is currently seeking experienced HR Truck Drivers to join a locally owned and operated waste management business servicing Townsville and surrounding areas.

This is a outstanding prospect for a reliable driver looking for ongoing work, with the potential to transition into a permanent position after approximately 6 months for the right candidate.

About the Role You’ll be working across a variety of commercial and industrial waste services, operating modern vehicles and assisting with the collection, loading and transportation of different waste streams.

Duties may include:

- Operating a range of vehicles including vacuum trucks, hook lifts, front lifts and flatbed delivery trucks
- Loading and unloading commercial and industrial waste
- Operating a forklift where required
- Completing local deliveries and waste collections
- Maintaining the presentation and cleanliness of vehicles
- Following all safety procedures and company requirements
- Providing professional and friendly service to customers

About You To be successful, you will have:

- Current HR Licence (minimum)
- A clean driving record
- Previous truck driving experience
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety




- A professional presentation and customer-focused attitude
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
