About the role
You will help ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of transport services. Working in a quick-paced environment, you will coordinate daily vehicle schedules, respond to changing circumstances, and provide outstanding customer service to clients and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinating daily schedules and runs for more than 52 vehicles, ensuring client expectations are met in relation to service quality and timeliness
- Responding quickly and effectively to schedule changes arising from emergencies, crises, or unexpected situations
- Reviewing schedules to identify efficiencies, improvements, and potential cost savings for the organisation
- Ensuring schedules comply with relevant Transport Industry fatigue management regulations
- Understanding and applying Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements and responsibilities, with training provided
- Responding promptly to daily requests, providing accurate information and practical solutions
- Managing inbound and outbound customer service and enquiry calls
- Processing client bookings via telephone and email
- Building positive relationships with a diverse range of clients and responding to their needs with professionalism and empathy
- Working as part of a team
About you
- Previous experience preparing and developing schedules and rosters
- Proven customer service experience and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse client groups
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise competing demands
- Well-developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- The ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant systems
- Knowledge of the Camden, Campbelltown, Fairfield, Liverpool, Wingecarribee, and Wollondilly Local Government Areas (LGAs) will be highly beneficial
- Experience using RouteMatch will be highly regarded
- A willingness and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
