We are currently seeking an experienced MIG Welder with strong mild steel fabrication skills for ongoing work based in Smithfield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused looking for stable Monday-to-Friday work.

Key Responsibilities

- Fabricating and welding mild steel components independently
- Performing MIG welding on 6mm fillets
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and engineering plans
- Handling, cutting, and lifting mild steel materials safely
- Producing high-quality welds and finishes
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workspace
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures

About You

- Previous experience in MIG welding and mild steel fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings




- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and within a team
- Full PPE including welding helmet, gloves, and steel-cap boots
- Own vehicle or reliable transport preferred
