Brumby’s Bakery is coming back to Secret Harbour and we are building a strong local team to bring fresh bread, bakery favourites and genuine customer service back to the community. We are seeking a motivated full time Baker to help prepare and bake quality products from scratch, support the store’s reopening and deliver the fresh bakery experience Brumby’s customers know and love.

This is a full-time permanent position of 38 hours per week, with early starts, weekend work and public holidays where required

The Role

As a Baker at our Brumby’s Bakery in Secret Harbour, you will be responsible for preparing, baking and finishing a range of fresh bread, savoury and sweet bakery products. You will work closely with the Store Manager and wider team to maintain product quality, food safety, cleanliness and Brumby’s brand standards each day.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Prepare doughs, mixes, fillings and bakery products in line with Brumby’s recipes and production standards
- Bake fresh bread, rolls, savoury items and sweet products to the required quality and presentation standards
- Support the successful reopening and ongoing daily production needs of the store
- Monitor product quality, freshness, consistency and availability throughout each shift
- Follow food safety, workplace health and safety, cleaning and hygiene procedures at all times




- Assist with ordering, stock rotation, waste control and efficient use of ingredients
- Keep bakery equipment, benches and preparation areas clean, organised and safe
- Work collaboratively with the Store Manager and team members to meet daily production targets
- Provide friendly customer service when required and contribute to a positive team culture

What We’re Looking For

You’re a reliable and hands-on baker who takes pride in producing fresh, high-quality bakery products. You enjoy early starts, working as part of a team and maintaining strong food safety, cleanliness and presentation standards. You are motivated to help create a welcoming local bakery experience for the Secret Harbour community.

You’ll also bring:

- Proven qualification or and previous baking experience in a bakery, café, supermarket bakery or similar food production environment
- Sound knowledge of dough preparation, baking processes, product finishing and bakery presentation standards
- Ability to follow recipes, production schedules and brand procedures with consistency and attention to detail
- Understanding of food safety, workplace health and safety, cleaning and hygiene requirements
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with managers and team members
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends and some public holidays as required
