About the role

Casuarina Dental is seeking two Dental Positions to join our team in Casuarina, NSW. We are looking to fill one Dental Receptionist role and one Dental Assistant role. Both positions offer flexibility and the chance to work in a dynamic, patient-focused dental practice environment. Dental Receptionist – Key responsibilities

- Greeting patients warmly and professionally upon arrival at the practice

- Managing patient appointments using practice management software and scheduling systems

- Handling patient enquiries via phone, email, and in person with professionalism and efficiency

- Processing patient payments and managing invoicing and billing procedures

- Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with privacy legislation

- Performing general administrative duties including filing, data entry, and correspondence

- Assisting with patient check-in and check-out procedures

- Supporting the dental team by coordinating appointments and ensuring smooth practice operations

Dental Assistant – Key responsibilities





- Assisting dentists during clinical procedures and treatments

- Preparing treatment rooms with appropriate instruments and materials

- Sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment to meet infection control standards

- Taking dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist

- Managing patient comfort and providing chairside support during treatments

- Maintaining accurate patient records and treatment notes

- Assisting with patient education regarding oral health and treatment procedures

- Supporting the overall efficiency of the practice by maintaining organised and clean clinical environments

What we're looking for – Dental Receptionist

- Proven experience working as a dental receptionist or in a similar front-office healthcare role

- Proficiency with dental practice management software and Microsoft Office applications

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff

- Strong organisational and time management abilities

- Ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment

- Demonstrated commitment to patient confidentiality and compliance with privacy legislation

- Customer service-oriented mindset with a genuine passion for helping others

- Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent qualification is preferred

What we're looking for – Dental Assistant





- Current or recently completed certification in Dental Assisting (Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent)

- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control protocols

- Experience working in a dental practice environment

- Ability to take dental radiographs with appropriate qualifications or willingness to obtain certification

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of sterilisation and hygiene

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to make patients feel comfortable and at ease

- Physical capability to assist chairside and lift patients or equipment as required

- Reliability and flexibility to accommodate varying shift requirements
