About the role

Disability Aged Community Care Services (DACCS) is a leading provider of personalised support services for individuals with disabilities in the Logan Area. Our mission is to empower and enhance the lives of our community members, promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Key responsibilities

- Delivery of personalised support services to clients, ensuring their needs are met with the highest level of care and compassion

- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping

- Working collaboratively as a team to maintain safe, consistent and high quality support for clients

- Advocate for client rights and ensure they have access to the resources and services they require

- Maintain detailed records and documentation to track client progress and support service delivery

- Participate in ongoing training and career development to enhance your skills and knowledge

About you

- Certificate 3 Individual Support (Aging, Disability, Home and Community)

- NDIS Worker Screening Card & Blue Card

- Queensland Drivers Licence

- Experience in providing personalised support services to individuals with disabilities





- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals

- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others

- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently

- Reliability, accountability, and professionalism

- Initiative and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

- Flexibility with availability, including weekdays, evenings, nights and weekends
