About the role

You will be involved in:

- Servicing and maintaining commercial air conditioning and refrigeration equipment

- Diagnosing and fault-finding air conditioning and refrigeration systems

- Attending breakdowns and emergency service calls

- Working on VRF / VRV systems

- Servicing commercial ducted and split systems

- Refrigeration service and repair work

- Carrying out preventative maintenance

- Commissioning new equipment

- Identifying additional repair and maintenance requirements

- Quoting smaller repairs and variations where appropriate

- Liaising professionally with clients and site representatives

- Completing job reports, service documentation and photos,

- Working alongside and assisting apprentices and junior technicians

- Participating in a rotating on-call roster.

Experience & Skills

We are looking for someone who is:

- A qualified HVAC Technician or 4th Year Apprentice nearing completion of their apprenticeship

- Cert III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, or currently completing the qualification

- Holds an ARC Refrigerant Handling Licence, or is eligible to obtain one upon qualification

- Strong in fault finding and problem solving

- Able to work independently and as part of a team

- Professional and well presented when dealing with clients

- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn





- Holds a current Australian driver's licence

- Committed to quality workmanship and doing the job properly

For the right person, we are also happy to support a 4th Year Apprentice transitioning into a fully qualified Service Technician role.

- Mitsubishi Electric VRF systems

- Daikin VRV systems

- Commercial ducted air conditioning

- Commercial split systems

- Refrigeration systems

- Controls and advanced fault diagnostics

- BMS integration

- Commercial preventative maintenance

- Healthcare or aged care environments
