Opportunity to join the Northern Beaches Acute Care Team and be a part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary specialist mental health service.

Employment Type: Temporary Part Time until 15 May 2027 (with possibility of ongoing employment)

Salary per week:

Allied Health Professional (Level 1/2): $40.05 - $57.14

Psychologist: $42.20 - $61.76

Registered Nurse: $41.23 - $57.88

Brookvale Community Health Centre

What you'll be doing




To provide nursing and health services as a member of a multi-disciplinary community mental health team which offers triage, assessment, treatment, ongoing case management and discharge planning services to individuals in Northern Sydney Local Health Districts.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

1. Current AHPRA registration for relevant discipline - Psychology, Occupational Therapist, Registered Nurse, Eligibility for membership with AASW for Social Workers.
2. Demonstrated, comprehensive mental health assessment and crisis intervention experience. Demonstrated experience and skills in suicide risk assessment and management.
3. Experience working in community mental health and a demonstrated knowledge of the NSW Mental Health Act.
