Waste Water Services (WWS) is part of Vysarn Limited (ASX: VYS), Australia’s leading vertically integrated water services provider supporting the mining, resources and infrastructure sectors.

Waste Water Services specialises in the design, construction and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment infrastructure, including sewage treatment plants, potable water treatment systems, pump stations, filtration systems, chemical dosing systems and associated mechanical and electrical infrastructure.

Our projects support major clients including BHP, Rio Tinto, Pilbara Minerals and Fortescue, as well as Water Corporation, local governments and regional communities across Western Australia.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, we are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our electrical team.

The Role

This is a hands-on electrical role working across both our Henderson workshop and project sites throughout Western Australia.

The role will involve a combination of Perth-based and FIFO/DIDO work, carrying out electrical installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance and fault-finding on water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations and associated infrastructure.

You will work closely with our electrical, mechanical, engineering and project teams throughout workshop construction, site installation and commissioning.

We are looking for an electrician with a strong industrial background who is comfortable fault-finding, working from drawings and taking ownership of their work.

What You'll Be Doing

• Installing, testing and commissioning electrical systems associated with water and wastewater treatment infrastructure

• Electrical installation and fit-out of treatment plants, pump stations, packaged skids and associated equipment

• Installing and terminating motors, VSDs, soft starters, instrumentation, switchboards, field panels and control wiring

• Installing and testing instrumentation including pressure, flow, level and analytical instruments

• Completing electrical works on Water Corporation, mining and regional infrastructure projects

• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, P&IDs;,



loop diagrams and I/O lists

• Carrying out fault-finding and troubleshooting on pumps, motors, VSDs, MCCs, instrumentation and control systems

• Supporting plant commissioning including loop checks, I/O verification, motor operational checks and instrument calibration

• Completing electrical testing, isolation and LOTO activities in accordance with project and site requirements

• Working alongside mechanical, process and project teams during construction, commissioning and shutdown activities

• Completing electrical test sheets, commissioning records, redline mark-ups, ITPs and project close-out documentation

• Supporting breakdown and maintenance activities where required

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for an experienced industrial electrician with strong practical skills and the ability to work across workshop construction, site installation and commissioning activities.

You will ideally bring:

• WA A-Grade Electrical Licence

• Minimum three years' experience as an electrician in an industrial, mining, water infrastructure or similar environment

• Experience with motors, pumps, VSDs and motor control systems

• Experience installing and fault finding electrical control systems

• Understanding of PLC/SCADA I/O wiring and control systems

• Experience with industrial instrumentation including pressure, flow and level instruments

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and P&IDs;

• Strong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skills

• Good understanding of electrical protection, isolation and testing requirements

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Robust attention to detail and pride in workmanship

• A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks

• Current CPR/LVR

• Construction White Card





• Current Australian driver's licence

• Full and unrestricted Australian working rights

Experience with water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, chemical dosing systems, packaged treatment plants or similar process infrastructure would be highly regarded.

Confined Space, Working at Heights, Gas Test Atmospheres, Schedule 26 and Hazardous Area qualifications would also be advantageous.

An electrical contractors ticket would also be highly advantageous.

Working With Us

This isn't a role where you'll be doing the same type of electrical work every day.

Our projects cover everything from workshop-built treatment plants and packaged skids through to major site installations, pump stations and commissioning activities across Western Australia.

You'll work closely with electricians, trades, engineers and project teams and gain exposure to both the electrical and process sides of water infrastructure.

The role does involve FIFO/DIDO work, but you will also spend time working from our Henderson facility and on Perth-based projects.
