Your opportunity
As Senior Manager, Facilities & Asset Management, you'll lead ECH's facilities, grounds and strategic asset management functions across a diverse and geographically distributed property portfolio.
Reporting to the Head of Property & Retirement Living, you'll drive strategic asset planning, facilities operations, commercial performance and continuous improvement, ensuring ECH's assets remain safe, compliant, sustainable and positioned for future growth.
Working closely with executives, residents, contractors and key stakeholders, you'll lead a high-performing team while delivering a consumer-centric and commercially disciplined approach to facilities and asset management.
You'll Make an Impact By
- Leading strategic asset management across ECH's property portfolio, ensuring assets are effectively managed throughout their lifecycle.
- Driving facilities excellence, by maintaining safe, compliant, well-presented and fit-for-purpose environments for residents, clients and staff.
- Delivering capital renewal, upgrade and maintenance programs that enhance asset performance and long-term value.
- Strengthening commercial outcomes through effective P&L; management, strategic procurement, contract management and cost optimisation.
- Leading innovation, transformation and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
What You'll Bring
To succeed in this role, you'll need the following qualifications and experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Facilities Management, Asset Management, Engineering, Property, Building Services or a related discipline.
- Extensive senior leadership experience managing facilities and strategic asset management across large and complex property portfolios.
- Proven commercial leadership, including P&L; accountability, OpEx and CapEx planning, procurement and contract management.
- Strong knowledge of asset lifecycle management, building compliance, engineering standards and WHS legislation.
- Demonstrated success leading and developing multidisciplinary teams while driving accountability, safety and continuous improvement.
- Experience implementing facilities and asset management technology and operating model transformation.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- National Police Check.
We Would Also Love You To Bring The Following Skills
- Experience within retirement living, aged care, healthcare, property or community services sectors.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Property, Facilities Management, Engineering or Business Administration.
- Professional membership with relevant industry bodies such as the Facility Management Association, Asset Management Council or Engineers Australia.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and influencing skills, with experience operating at executive and board level.
- A strategic mindset combined with the ability to deliver operational excellence and organisational change.
