Padstow Bowling Club is growing its team and are on the hunt for a casual Duty Manager to join our leadership team! As a Duty Manager, you will be the go-to person for staff and customers, overseeing a dynamic and customer-focused environment. This is a casual role perfectly suitied for someone looking for a second job or something to work around your uni timetable.

Padstow Bowling and Recreation Club has been at the heart of the local community for over 50 years. As a popular venue for bowls, functions and social events, we are committed to providing a welcoming atmosphere and outstanding customer service.

What you'll be doing:

- Supervising and supporting the team in delivering exceptional customer service

- Handling customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise

- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations

- Training and educating staff to confidently be able to perform all of their duties

- Reporting on daily operations and identifying opportunities for improvement





- Ensuring the club is presented in a qualified manner

What we're looking for:

- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within the club or pub industry

- Excellent customer service orientation with the ability to lead and motivate a team

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

- Current RSA, ARCG and AML/CTF certifications.

- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends

- Experience with Senpos, Resdairy and Google Workspace is preferred.
