The Learning Jungle and Lifetime Learners are seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) or Educator actively working towards an approved ECT qualification to join our team.

Key responsibilities

- Plan and implement engaging programs aligned with the EYLF and National Quality Standard.

- Observe, assess and document children’s learning and development.

- Build respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.

- Support inclusive practice and individual learning needs.

- Provide leadership and contribute to continuous improvement.

- Actively supervise children and maintain safe learning environments.

- Comply with child protection, mandatory reporting, skilled boundaries and child-safe practices.

- Participate in professional development and reflective practice.

What we’re looking for

Applicants must hold, or be actively working towards, an ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification.

You will also demonstrate:

- A strong commitment to child safety and wellbeing.

- Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQF and NQS.

- Understanding of child protection and mandatory reporting responsibilities.

- Strong communication, teamwork and professional judgement.

- Commitment to inclusive practice and continuous improvement.





Qualified ECTs must meet applicable NESA accreditation requirements.

Mandatory requirements

Successful applicants must:

- Hold a current NSW Working with Children Check for paid employment or willingness to obtain.

- Provide evidence of qualifications or current university enrolment and progress.

- Meet applicable NESA requirements if applicable.

- Complete required child protection and child-safety training.

- Participate in child-safe recruitment screening.

- Provide suitable professional referees and employment history.
