The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Organisational Development Lead to help build and shape our workforce, leading initiatives that ensure we have the right capabilities and diversity needed to support our future success.

As part of a small team of two OD Leads, you will contribute to a broad organisational development portfolio while leading the workforce planning and diversity agenda across WesCEF. Working collaboratively, you will design and deliver practical, business-focused solutions that strengthen organisational capability and support sustainable growth.

Partnering closely with senior leaders and our People & Culture team, you will lead and support the execution of initiatives that help the business make informed decisions about workforce capability, organisational effectiveness and future talent needs. Your work will influence how we attract, develop and deploy talent, ensuring our workforce is equipped for both current and future challenges, while establishing fit for purpose practical frameworks and clear governance structures.

This is an prospect to work across a diverse portfolio of operational, industrial and corporate environments, driving initiatives that have a tangible impact on people, performance and business outcomes.

In this role, you will:

- Lead WesCEF's workforce planning strategy and capability, helping the business prepare for future workforce needs.
- Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives that strengthen workforce representation, capability and performance.
- Partner with leaders to identify workforce challenges and develop practical solutions that support business priorities.
- Deliver organisation design, workforce planning and capability initiatives that improve organisational effectiveness.
- Use workforce data and insights to inform decision-making and shape future workforce strategies.
- Develop frameworks, governance and tools that support sustainable workforce and talent outcomes.
- Collaborate across People & Culture to deliver integrated people solutions and initiatives.

What we'd like from you

You are a commercially minded OD professional who enjoys turning strategy into action. Ideally you will have experience leading and delivering enterprise-wide OD initiatives from conception to realisation, applying effective change management to maximise impact. You understand the workforce challenges facing complex organisations and can balance long-term thinking with hands-on delivery.

You bring experience across several areas which may include organisational design, job architecture and design,



workforce planning, talent and workforce analytics, career frameworks, DEIB or workforce governance, along with solid stakeholder engagement and influencing skills. Most importantly, you're passionate about creating practical solutions that help organisations and people thrive.
