Auto Masters Barossa is looking for a motivated Senior Automotive Technician (2IC) to support the Store Manager and help drive the day-to-day operations of our busy workshop. This hands-on role is ideal for an experienced Automotive Technician who enjoys working as part of a team, has strong leadership potential and is ready to take the next step.

ARE YOU THE PERFECT FIT?

- 5+ years’ experience in a similar automotive service and repair role
- Relevant automotive trade qualification
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills
- Confident supporting workshop operations and leading by example
- Experience mentoring apprentices and junior technicians
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Passion for customer service and quality workmanship
- Self-motivated, reliable and driven to get the job done right
- Unrestricted driver’s licence
- Full Australian working rights
- Available Monday to Friday plus rotational Saturday mornings

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

- Keep vehicles moving with quality servicing, repairs and maintenance
- Diagnose faults and find effective solutions




- Work closely with the Store Manager to keep the workshop running smoothly
- Step up and take charge when the Store Manager is away
- Help allocate jobs and keep the workshop efficient and productive
- Mentor and support apprentices and junior technicians
- Ensure every job meets high standards for quality and accuracy
- Assist customers and the front-of-house team when needed
- Keep tools, equipment and safety standards in top shape
- Play an active role in achieving workshop productivity and performance targets
