Team Leader / Landscaper

We need an experienced landscaper to run the site day-to-day - not from a clipboard, but on the tools, setting the standard the rest of the crew works to. You'll set out heights, sequence the job properly from earthworks through to final clean, and make sure the work goes in right the first time.

This is a leadership role that stays hands-on. You'll be working alongside a small crew (labourers and a machine operator), directing their tasks, checking quality as it happens, and being the one who catches a heights or setout mistake before it becomes a week of rework - not after.

You'll be responsible for:

- Reading a set-out and establishing heights/levels independently, first thing on site

- Sequencing the job correctly:



earthworks → drainage → hardscape → materials in → softscape/finish

- Leading a small crew — assigning tasks, keeping momentum, holding the standard on tidiness and accuracy

- Staying on the tools yourself, not just directing — this isn't a supervisor role that stands back

- Picking up and preventing rework before it happens

- Being the in office technical point of contact so jobs don't need to wait on the owner

- Coordinating materials/machine timing with the office so the week runs to plan
