The Opportunity

This well-established mid-tier advisory firm is expanding due to new client wins, creating a newly created opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their growing team.

This role sits within a specialist bookkeeping function, giving you ownership of a client portfolio while helping those clients modernise their finance operations. You'll coach clients, run training, and lead app integrations and workflow automation, and you'll see the difference your improvements make, fast.

Ideal for someone coming from public practice, who enjoys variety, autonomy, and client interaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage a portfolio of clients as their primary point of contact

- Manage day-to-day financial operations for clients using leading software (e.g., Xero, MYOB)

- Deliver client training sessions on best-practice workflows, app usage, and integrations; support onboarding to cloud tools and straightforward automations

- Process accounts payable/receivable, reconcile bank/credit card accounts, and prepare BAS, IAS, and Payroll Tax lodgements

- Administer payroll in line with Fair Work and ATO requirements, including superannuation contributions

- Assist with monthly/quarterly management reporting, cash-flow monitoring, budgeting, and forecasting

About You

- 2+ years experience in bookkeeping and/or payroll

- Strong understanding of BAS, IAS,



and payroll compliance

- Experience working across multiple entities
