Excavator Operators – Multiple Civil Projects Across SEQ

Smith & Co is looking for skilled Excavator Operators to join a number of established civil contractors across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. With current projects commencing and existing sites continuing to grow, we have multiple opportunities available for operators looking to secure their next role.

The work covers a broad mix of civil construction, including subdivisions, road upgrades, drainage, bulk earthworks and land development. Positions are available for operators with different levels of experience, ranging from general excavation and trenching through to highly experienced GPS Final Trim Operators.

What we're looking for

- Proven Excavator Operator experience within civil construction
- Experience across subdivisions, roadworks, drainage or bulk earthworks
- Operators from general earthmoving through to Final Trim are encouraged to apply
- Trimble and/or Topcon GPS experience will be highly regarded
- Relevant RII Excavator competency/ticket
- Current Construction White Card
- Ability to confidently operate around existing services and ground crews
- Good understanding of civil site safety and machinery procedures
- Reliable transport and ability to travel to projects within your preferred area
- Dependable attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a civil crew
