The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Underground Mine Supervisor to join our team, working directly with a leading Gold Mining Operation on the East Coast of Australia.
This is a FIFO opportunity on a 7/7 roster, initially offered on a 6-month contract, with the potential for longer-term opportunities.

What You'll Be Doing

- Providing day-to-day leadership and supervision to underground mining crews
- Ensuring underground mining activities are carried out safely, efficiently and in accordance with site procedures and operational requirements
- Leading and coordinating crews to achieve production and development targets
- Monitoring work progress, identifying issues and implementing practical solutions to maintain operational performance
- Ensuring compliance with relevant safety, environmental and operational standards
- Communicating effectively with Mining Management, technical teams and other site stakeholders
- Supporting the planning and coordination of daily underground mining activities
- Monitoring equipment,



workforce and operational requirements to ensure effective execution of planned activities
- Identifying opportunities to improve safety, productivity and operational efficiency
- Providing strong leadership and support to underground mining personnel, promoting a positive safety and performance culture

What We're Looking For

- Proven experience as an Underground Mine Supervisor within a mining environment
- Strong operational experience in underground hard-rock mining, ideally within a Gold operation
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage underground mining crews effectively
- Robust understanding of underground mining safety, operational standards and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to work towards production and development targets while maintaining a strong focus on safety
- Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and continuous improvemen
