A little bit about you

You are an experienced HR professional who has the ability to develop relationships, trust and rapport with range of stakeholders at all levels. Your style is practical, proactive and people focused when providing guidance and you have navigated complexity with ease. You have the ability to handle challenging conversations like a pro and in your previous positions you may have supported performance discussions or managed disciplinary processes with great success. Your curiosity and problem solving skills will be the key to your success in this role. Exposure to retail is preferred but not essential.

As a trusted Partner you seek to:

- Degree in HR Management or a related field, with prior experience in generalist HR roles
- Knowledge of industrial relations frameworks, including the Fair Work Act and Modern Awards
- Ability to interpret Awards, policies and procedures in order to provide sound, practical HR advice
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a rapid-paced environment
- Ability to effectively manage difficult conversations and resolve conflict

About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced P&C; generalist to join our close knit, supportive P&C; Partnerships team with a focus on expanding their knowledge in the ER space.

No two days will be the same,



you will have an opportunity to be a trusted advisor providing support to our people leaders on all matters relating to employee relations such as disciplinary, performance management, grievance and absence management.

You will also work closely with the broader People & Culture team help support P&C; programs and initiatives across the organisation to enhance the employee and volunteer experience. This opportunity has plenty of scope to make a real impact.

Here’s a snapshot of how you’ll make an impact:

- Provide day to day advice and support to managers, employees and volunteers
- Support the resolution of employee relations matters
- Drive best people practice in line with legislative requirements and organisational policy
- Support with timely and accurate people metrics reports, supporting analysis to identify trends and inform effective decision making
- Support the P&C; Business Partner in the delivery of internal training to our People Leaders
