There has never been a more exciting time to join ATCO Structures, as our Australian business experiences unprecedented growth. We’re expanding rapidly and investing in our people – so jump on board now and take advantage of genuine opportunities for career development, progression, and long-term stability with a global leader.

An opportunity has become available for an experienced and proactive HSEQ Business Partner to lead health, safety, environment, and quality initiatives across our manufacturing operations in Luscombe. With innovation, quality, and care at the heart of everything we do, this is your chance to make a real and lasting impact in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

About the Role
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, this position plays a critical role in strengthening and embedding a proactive, people-first safety culture within our Luscombe manufacturing facility. You'll work closely with operational leaders, providing both strategic and hands-on HSEQ support, while driving improvements in safety performance, compliance, and team engagement.

This role will directly support the uplift of safety leadership capability across the site and will suit a confident self-starter who can work autonomously and drive improvement initiatives in consultation with the National HR & HSEQ Manager. Key focus areas include managing critical risks such as people-plant interaction, working at heights, and interface risks in a dynamic and busy manufacturing environment.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced HSEQ professional with a strong background in manufacturing, and a solid understanding of Critical Risk Management, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), and ISO frameworks.

Why Join ATCO?

- Stable, permanent full-time position with a global industry leader.

- Collaborative and values-driven team culture.

- Employee Assistance Program.

- Employee Share Purchase Plan & Bursary Program.

- Career development and internal mobility opportunities.

- Supportive and cooperative team environment.

What You’ll Do

- Embed ATCO’s HSEQ strategy, systems, and wellbeing initiatives across the manufacturing site.

- Build strong partnerships with supervisors, team leaders, and workers to coach and influence safety behaviour and decision-making.

- Lead and support investigations into incidents and hazards, ensuring root causes are identified and lessons are shared.

- Champion continuous improvement in safety systems, processes, and reporting tools.

- Monitor risk controls and support Critical Risk Verification programs.

- Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility obligations and promote a shared accountability model.

- Deliver engaging training, toolbox talks, and support safety meetings.

- Collaborate with national HSEQ and operational teams to deliver consistent, high-impact outcomes.

- Manage and submit monthly HSEQ reports, ensuring documentation is timely, accurate, and aligned with business requirements.

- Support the management of Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and associated documentation for both ATCO employees and on-site contractors.

- Conduct thorough and engaging HSEQ inductions for all new starters, embedding a strong safety-first mindset from day one.

What You’ll Bring

- Certificate IV in WHS (minimum); relevant tertiary qualifications highly regarded.

- Demonstrated experience in a similar HSEQ Advisor or Business Partner role within a manufacturing environment.

- Strong understanding of WHS legislation, risk management, and incident investigation frameworks.

- Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility, critical risk controls, and ISO standards.

- Excellent communication and coaching skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

- Proficiency in Microsoft365 and cloud-based reporting platforms (e.g., Donesafe).

- A current Driver’s Licence and White Card.
