Depending on experience and position, responsibilities may include:

· Operating mobile plant including Excavators, Front End Loaders, Skid Steers, Rollers, Tippers and Water Carts.

· Assisting earthworks crews with daily construction activities.

· Spotting and supporting plant operators during excavation and earthworks operations.

· Assisting with drainage, trenching, service installations and general civil works.

· Implementing and maintaining site controls including signage, barricades and exclusion zones.

· Completing pre-start inspections and routine maintenance checks on plant, tools and equipment.

· Maintaining safe housekeeping standards across the work area.

· Working as a team with supervisors, operators, tradespeople and subcontractors.

Essential Requirements

· Previous experience in civil construction, earthworks, mining or infrastructure projects.

· Construction White Card.

· Current Driver's Licence (HR highly regarded).

· Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.

· National Police Clearance (less than 6 months old).

· Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

· Ability to work safely around mobile plant and heavy equipment.

· Physically fit and capable of working in a hands-on construction environment

· Robust work ethic and willingness to get involved in all aspects of earthworks and construction activities.
