Wills and Estates Lawyer (3+ Years PQE)

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated Wills and Estates Lawyer (3+ years PQE) to join our team.
About the Role
You will work closely with an experienced partner on a broad range of high-quality wills and estates matters, including estate planning, probate and estate administration, estate litigation, and succession planning.
This role offers strong autonomy, direct client contact, and the opportunity to take ownership of matters while being supported by a highly experienced partner.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising clients on estate planning, including drafting wills, powers of attorney, and appointment of medical treatment decision makers
- Preparing testamentary trusts and complex estate planning structures
- Managing probate and letters of administration applications
- Administering deceased estates from commencement through to final distribution
- Advising executors, trustees, beneficiaries, and attorneys on their rights and obligations
- Assisting with family provision claims and other estate disputes
- Providing succession planning advice for individuals, families, and business owners
- Managing matters from initial instruction through to completion
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Working collaboratively with partners and other team members
Skills & Experience
- Admitted to practice in Victoria
- 3–6+ years post-admission experience in wills and estates law
- Strong experience in estate planning, probate, and estate administration
- Experience in estate litigation or succession disputes will be highly regarded
- Excellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
- Commercially minded with a practical and empathetic approach to client service
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proactive, organised, and client-focused
