In this role, you'll:

This is an opportunity to lead strategic Early Careers programs that support current and future workforce needs across NSW.

You will oversee the design and continuous improvement of apprentice, trainee and cadet pathways that strengthen capability, create talent pipelines and support workforce planning priorities.

Working with business leaders, education providers and internal stakeholders, you will translate workforce priorities into practical program solutions. Using workforce insights and performance data, you will identify capability gaps, inform program direction and ensure Early Careers initiatives align with organisational needs.

Leading a team of Early Careers professionals, you will provide strategic direction, build strong partnerships and oversee program governance, participant development and successful qualification outcomes.

This role offers the opportunity to influence workforce strategy and deliver talent solutions in a complex, fast-paced environment.

This role requires a Working with Children Check and a National Criminal History Check prior to appointment.

About You

You are a strategic workforce, talent or capability leader with experience in Early Careers, workforce planning, learning and development, talent management or a related field. You have a proven ability to deliver workforce programs that create measurable outcomes.

You can influence stakeholders, use evidence to inform decisions and build effective partnerships across diverse business areas. You identify workforce risks and opportunities and lead teams to deliver sustainable, future-focused outcomes.

Experience with apprentice, trainee or cadet programs, and knowledge of Vocational Education and Training (VET), Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and workforce trends, will support your success in this role.
