About the Role
n
As a DevOps Engineer, you'll work within a dedicated team responsible for building and maintaining cloud‐based platforms that support the full application lifecycle. You'll collaborate closely with software development teams to onboard new projects, implement CI/CD pipelines, embed observability tooling, and champion DevOps culture across the organisation.
n
Your work will directly contribute to the design, development, and delivery of key technical solutions within a major transformation program.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Develop, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines
n
- Support Azure DevOps pipeline development and cloud migration activities
n
- Configure and manage Windows application servers and IIS web applications
n
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration
n
- Plan, automate, test, and deploy databases using pipelines
n
- Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures
n
- Identify and implement improvements to DevOps workflows
n
- Mentor and support internal teams, fostering strong working relationships
n
- Manage workload effectively to meet project deadlines
n
n
Skills & Experience
n
n
- Strong IT infrastructure background with deep knowledge of DevOps methodologies
n
- Hands‐on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and modern DevOps toolsets
n
- Experience with static code analysis and quality tools (e.g., SonarQube)
n
- Strong understanding of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
and artifact repositories (e.g., JFrog Artifactory)
n
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
n
- Excellent analytical and problem‐solving skills
n
- Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders
n
- Robust project management capability with a track record of delivering on time and within budget
n
n
What You Bring
n
n
- Experience designing and implementing complex build and release pipelines
n
- Ability to integrate DevOps platforms securely with third‐party and custom tools
n
- Experience designing secure, resilient Azure, multi‐cloud, or hybrid architectures
n
- Understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and cloud security controls
n
- Ability to produce scalable, reusable DevOps architectural patterns
n
- Proven capability to guide teams and support operational DevOps environments
n
n
