The Role

The Learning Strategies Teachers willcollaborate with classroom teachers to support VCE students in theclassroom, and assist with planning, resourcing and implementingIndividual Learning Plans. As a valued member of our team, you willbe part of making a real difference by positively impacting studentexperience and contributing to our schoolcommunity.
Inthese Full Time, Permanent Position Commencing 1 January 2027 you will be working as part of a supportive and collegial team based at our Caulfield Campus.
Key Duties
- Structure teaching programsinformed by research and collegial advice on studentlearning.
- Develop differentiated teachingactivities that cater to diverse learning needs, includingstudents with disabilities, adhering to relevant policies andlegislation.
- Provide flexible supporttailored to individual students, employing effective assessmentmethods tomonitorand report on studentprogress.
- Administerand interpret1-1 diagnostic assessments
- Collaborate actively withcolleagues to develop and implement student-centered IndividualLearning Plans.
- Utilisestrategies based onstudents’ developmental characteristics to enhance learningoutcomes.
- Maintain comprehensivedocumentation on student progressasrequired.
- Participate in professionaldevelopment activities to continually improve teachingpractices.
