Recycling Yard Team Member / Yard All Rounder

Your new role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will safely operate machinery.

Your role will include but not be limited to:

- Operate equipment, including forklift and excavators (where licensed)
- Ensure customers receive a high level of service
- Grading and sorting materials
- Demonstrating personal responsibility for and commitment to OH&S; policies and procedures

To be successful in this opportunity, you will have:

- Ability to work independently
- A can-do attitude, you will be open to undertaking training in order to diversify your skills
- Excellent attendance, reliability and attention to detail
- Must have own transport as there is not public transport

It’s an added advantage but not essential if you have:

- Previous knowledge and understanding of scrap metal processing
- Forklift (LF) license (or a willingness to learn)
- Excavators Licenses

In return, we offer:

- Consistent shift Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm and overtime when required




- On the job training, with certified tickets and opportunities for progression
- Upgrading to Full Time to the right person
