We're looking for a Customer Service Officer to join a growing organisation supporting older Australians and their families. In this rewarding role, you'll be the first point of contact for customers seeking guidance and support, helping them navigate services and access the assistance they need.

As a Customer Service Officer, you'll manage a high volume of enquiries while providing personalised, empathetic support to customers and their families.

You'll take the time to understand individual circumstances, provide practical solutions, and work closely with internal teams to ensure every customer receives a positive experience.

Responsibilities

- Respond to inbound calls and email enquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Deliver exceptional customer service while meeting service levels and performance targets
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored information, guidance and support
- Build strong relationships through genuine, customer-focused communication




- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve enquiries
- Manage customer information accurately and maintain detailed records
- Identify and elevate complex matters where required to achieve the best outcome

Your Profile

- Experience in a customer service, contact centre or other fast-paced customer-facing environment
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of service
- Excellent problem-solving skills and sound judgement
- Confidence using CRM systems, Microsoft Office 365 and other technology platforms
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- A warm, qualified and empathetic approach
- Desirable - Experience within aged care, healthcare, disability services, community services or similar industries
