Night Shift | 8:00pm - 6:00am | $65/Hr + Super + Overtime

Our client has recently commissioned a brand new, $150 million corrugated box manufacturing site in Hemmant. Built to support Queensland's agricultural, FMCG, and primary industry sectors, this facility features world class automation and cutting edge technology.

n

We're looking for an Industrial Electrician to join the night shift team, supporting plant operations through maintenance, repairs, and continuous improvement initiatives. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll play a key role in keeping this high performance facility running safely and efficiently.

What you'll be doing:

n

n
- Responding to equipment breakdowns and prioritising preventative maintenance activities.
n
- Installing electrical systems including wiring and conduit for conveyors, control systems, and high-speed production machinery.
n
- Replacing and repairing electrical components such as motors, relays, switches, sensors, scanners, and other automated parts.
n
- Diagnosing and resolving faults in electronic components including printed circuit boards.
n
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains across the plant.
n

What we're looking for:

n

n
- A current QLD Electrical Licence and solid experience in manufacturing electrical systems.
n
- A proactive mindset with a strong interest in learning about PLCs and automation.
n
- Experience in rapid-paced, high-volume environments and a strong safety focus.
n
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
n
- A self-starting approach and reliable work ethic with a results-driven attitude.
