About The Role

We are seekingan experienced andproactiveHealth & Safety Managerto lead andcontinuously improve ourworkplace health andsafety function. This is a full-time position responsible for promotinga strong safetyculture across theorganisation, maintainingcompliance with applicableWHS legislation andstandards, and partneringwith employees, supervisors, management and stakeholdersto identify andminimise workplace risks.

The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership of the Health & Safety function while supporting our people and business to maintain safe and compliant work practices.

Key Responsibilities

Leadand develop theHealth & Safety functionand promote astrong safety cultureacross the business.

Develop, implement andcontinuously improve WHSpolicies, procedures andstrategies.

Ensurecompliance with relevantWHS legislation, AS/NZS 45001:2018and WHS Accreditationrequirements.

Lead risk assessments, workplace inspections,audits and incidentinvestigations, implementingcorrective actionswhere required.

Manage workers' compensation, injury management andreturn-to-workprocesses.

Deliver and coordinatehealth and safetytraining, ensuring trainingrecords remaincurrent and compliant.

Provide expert WHSadvice and supportto managers,



supervisorsand employees.

Monitor and reporton safety performanceto senior managementand drive continuousimprovement initiatives.

Liaise with internaland external stakeholderson health andsafety matters.

About You

You will bea confident andhands-on Health& Safety professional withstrong leadership andstakeholder managementskills. You willhave the abilityto work collaborativelyacross operational environmentswhile alsoproviding strategic adviceto senior management.

We are looking for someone who demonstrates:

Relevant tertiary qualificationsinWork Health & Safety, Occupational Health &Safety;, Risk Managementor a relateddiscipline.

Relevant WHS certificationsand industry experiencewill be highlyregarded.

Proven experience inaHealth & Safety / WHSmanagement role, preferably within mining, quarrying, construction, or asimilar industry.

Strong knowledge ofWHS/OHS legislation, risk management andsafety systems.

Experience developing andimplementing safety policies, procedures and managementsystems.

Demonstrated experiencein incident investigation, risk assessment andcorrective action management.

Experience managing workers' compensation, injury managementand return-to-work processes.

Strong understanding ofAS/NZS45001:2018requirements.

Experience with WHSaudits, inspections andcomplianceprograms.

Demonstrated ability tolead, mentor anddevelop a safetyteam.

Have a current Western Australian C driver's licence.

Have unrestricted legal working rights in Australia.

Excellent communication,interpersonal and stakeholdermanagement skills.

Strong organisational skillswith the abilityto managemultiple priorities.

A practical, proactiveand solutions-focusedapproach to workplacesafety.
