Job tasks and responsibilities include:
n
n
- Working with an experienced multidisciplinary allied health team.
n
- Assessing, treating and managing patients with acute and chronic musculoskeletal and sporting injuries, cardiorespiratory conditions, disabilities, neurological disorders, post-operative rehabilitation needs and return-to-sport performance.
n
- Performing muscle, nerve, joint and functional assessments to identify and diagnose physical conditions.
n
- Designing treatment programs to address client goals and presentations.
n
- Treating clients to reduce pain, improve circulation, strengthen muscles, improve cardiothoracic, cardiovascular and respiratory functions, restore joint mobility and improve balance and coordination.
n
- Utilising manual therapy, exercise, massage, manipulation, hydrotherapy and electrotherapy to support client outcomes.
n
- Reviewing, monitoring and evaluating treatment programs.
n
- Consulting with other health professionals regarding client needs and progress.
n
- Providing guidance to clients and their families regarding home management strategies.
n
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical records.
n
- Developing and implementing preventative health and health promotion programs.
n
- Providing individualised exercise prescription programs where appropriate.
n
- Assisting with administration and marketing activities including newsletters, articles, photography and social media.
n

Position Requirements:
n
n
- Bachelor, Master or Doctor of Physiotherapy qualification.
n
- Current AHPRA registration.
n
- APA registration.
n
- Current First Aid certification.
n
- Current driver's licence.
n
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
n
- Strong time management skills and ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
n
- Ability to work collaboratively with physiotherapists, allied health professionals and administrative staff.
n
- Sponsorship opportunities available for the right candidate already residing in Australia.
n
- Open to applicants with valid authority to work in Australia.
