The Opportunity

This is a brilliant opportunity for a finance executive to join one of Australia's fastest growing renewables businesses. The role will oversee a high performing finance team, have direct exposure to the ELT and play a pivotal role in the continual growth of the business both domestically and internationally.

The Financial Controller will be responsible for process improvement, being the ‘go-to’ support for financial control matters and supporting the CFO, CEO and ELT to drive the long term group strategy.

The Challenge

Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, operational cash flow management, and risk management
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of special purpose financial statements, reports, and disclosures in accordance with accounting
- principles, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Responsible for compliance with audit, tax and other regulations




- Provide leadership and direction to the finance team - 20+
- Preparation and/or review of technical accounting papers on technical accounting areas and significant transactions
- Drive and enhance organisational efficiency through proactive continuous improvements and innovation
- Perform and review tax related transactions

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

- CA/CPA qualified and ideally Big4 trained prior to your successful transition into industry
- You are a distinguished finance executive ideally within the infrastructure/energy markets, real estate or funds management sectors
- Experience in controls implementations and business process improvements
- Excellent interpersonal skills with robust ability to collaborate with and influence internal and external stakeholders
- Self-starter who can build relationships across the business
- Passionate with high achievement drive and a can-do attitude
- It is a given you will possess superior financial accounting and management reporting experience
- A natural leader, capable of building a high-performing team
