Accounts Receivable & Collections Officer

Permanent Full-time 38 hours per week

Malvern office Location (and hybrid work from home 2 days once training period completed)

About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable & Collections Officer to join our Patient Accounts team at Cabrini Health. The position requires a candidate who is self-motivated and who has had experience in Medical Imaging Billing and Debt collection. The successful candidate will also have a robust focus on customer service and take pride and ownership in their work.

Your day will look a little like this:

- Following up outstanding Debt
- Management of claim rejections
- Reporting of aged debts and reporting doubtful debts.
- Collaboration & Problem-Solving with internal and external stakeholders
- Liaising with Medicare/DVA/WorkCover and the Private Health Funds

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in medical imaging or a hospital billing setting essential
- MS Office and WebPas
- Visage application experience
- High level attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
