Jim Barry Wines is a family owned winery situated in the Clare Valley, focused on producing award winning estate grown Riesling, Shiraz, Cabernet and Malbec.

We have an exciting chance for an experienced winemaker who is driven to be involved in producing iconic wines.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with Jim Barry's Senior Winemaker and the winemaking team to produce our wide range of premium Regional Wines.
n
- Perform shift work over the vintage season.
n
- Manage staff and oversee bottling operations.
n

n

Qualifications

n

n
- Completed tertiary qualification in Wine Science or equivalent experience.
n
- Australian citizenship/residency or a valid existing Australian work visa.
n
- Prepared to live in Clare.
n
- Completed at least five vintages.
n
- Bottling experience preferable.
n
- Proven track record in managing both part time and full time staff to optimise efficiency and output.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, a sense of humour, passion for winemaking, and a willingness to go the extra yard to produce great wines.
