- Lead and coordinate national Work Health, Safety and Environmental (WHS&E;) programs
- Drive a positive safety culture, ensure legislative compliance, and support operational excellence across multiple sites
- Implement effective safety systems and deliver training programs
- Manage incident investigations and promote continuous improvement in workplace health, safety, and environmental performance
- Develop, implement, and maintain WHS&E; policies, procedures, and programs
- Provide expert workplace health and safety advice to managers and employees
- Coordinate and conduct site safety audits, inspections, and compliance reviews across multiple locations
- Lead incident and hazard management, including investigations, reporting, corrective actions, and preventative measures
- Develop risk assessments, Safe Operating Procedures, safety alerts, and other WHS documentation
- Manage WHS records and documentation
- Coordinate safety training for emergency wardens, first aiders, and WHS committee members
- Support safety committees and continuous improvement initiatives
- Liaise with regulators and external stakeholders on WHS&E; matters
- Administer company safety management systems and software

Requirements

- Qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety or a related discipline, or willingness to undertake further study
- Sound knowledge of Australian WHS legislation, standards, and compliance requirements
- Experience implementing and maintaining workplace safety programs and systems
- Solid organisational, planning, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and confidence using digital systems and databases




- Ability to build effective relationships and influence positive safety outcomes across all levels of the organisation
- High levels of professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling confidential information
- Current Driver's Licence
- Advanced First Aid Certificate
- Mental Health First Aid Certificate
- Willingness to travel interstate as required
- Availability to work outside standard business hours when required
