Our new state of the art building will draw you in and you may want to be onsite more - that said this is a flexible, hybrid role based in our Melbourne VU City Tower, with 2 days in office and 3 days from home on offer!

About the role

You will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and success of our leading online education offerings. Your primary focus will be providing exceptional customer service and guiding prospective students through the enrolment process. Day to day, you will be speaking with prospective and current students by phone, email and live chat to discuss all aspects of our courses – from assessing suitability and discussing eligibility, through to guiding applications, enrolment and providing ongoing support once enrolled.

This role will also give you the opportunity to be involved in developing, implementing and recording processes for optimum student service, and in evolving the student journey experience and communications.

What you'll be doing

- Responding to inbound enquiries from prospective students via phone, email and online chat
- Providing detailed information about VU Online's course offerings, entry requirements and the enrolment process
- Assisting applicants with navigating the application portal and completing all necessary documentation




- Identifying and addressing any barriers or concerns to enrolment, and providing personalised guidance
- Maintaining detailed records of all interactions and enrolment progress
- Supporting the wider Enrolments team with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required

What we’re looking for and key selection criteria

- A completed Bachelor qualification and 2+ years' relevant experience
- Previous experience in a customer service or sales-focused role, preferably in an education, healthcare or professional services environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide a high level of service
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly identify and resolve customer queries
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales or enrolment targets
- Familiarity with CRM systems and data management
- Passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their goals
- Acting with integrity and role modelling behaviours that strengthen a values-led culture.
