Join a leading telecommunications organisation delivering major infrastructure projects across Australia, including national 5G rollout initiatives.

We are seeking an experienced National Town Planner to manage planning approvals, stakeholder engagement and regulatory compliance across telecommunications upgrade projects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring development applications and planning processes are delivered efficiently, accurately and within strict timeframes.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, lodge and manage Development Applications (DAs) and Complying Development Certificates (CDCs)
n
- Lead planning approvals for telecommunications site upgrades and 5G deployments
n
- Manage Deployment Code consultation processes including community notifications and council liaison
n
- Conduct planning and design reviews to identify appropriate approval pathways
n




- Support stakeholder engagement including councils, communities and internal project teams
n
- Ensure compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements
n
- Provide expert planning advice to project delivery teams
n
- Identify risks, resolve planning issues and track progress against project milestones
n

About You

n

n
- Proven experience in town planning or urban planning within infrastructure or telecommunications
n
- Solid knowledge of Australian planning frameworks and approval pathways
n
- Experience managing DAs, CDCs and stakeholder consultation processes
n
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage sensitive community issues
n
- Strong project coordination, risk management and reporting capability
