Bene Aged Care is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Lifestyle Assistant to join our team at the St Pauls Residential Facility on a part-time basis.

About Your Role
As a Lifestyle Assistant at St Pauls, you will design and deliver engaging individual and group activities to support residents' emotional, physical, and social wellbeing. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Planning and facilitating lifestyle programs tailored to individual resident needs
- Supporting new residents as they transition and settle into the home
- Documenting participation and outcomes of lifestyle activities accurately and in a timely manner
- Advocating for residents and addressing any concerns or requests with care and professionalism
- Maintaining compliance with aged care quality standards and organisational policies
- Assisting with the evaluation of residents' wellbeing and providing relevant updates to nursing staff
- Contributing to secure, respectful, and enjoyable living environments for all residents
What You'll Bring
Essential:
- Current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Valid Driver's Licence
- Sound understanding of aged care related issues and person-centred care principles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
- Demonstrated ability to work respectfully and collaboratively within a diverse, team-based setting
- Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle, Certificate III in Aged Care, or an equivalent qualification
Desirable:
- Italian language skills (advantageous, though not essential)
