The Opportunity

As the Royal Australian Navy prepares to welcome 13 current MH-60 Romeo helicopters, Sikorsky Australia – a Lockheed Martin company – is seeking apprentices to join its team on the NSW South Coast across three trade streams: Mechanical, Surface Finisher or Avionics. Apprenticeships commence January 2027.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with hands‐on repair, maintenance and servicing of Romeo Seahawk aircraft
- Undergo training across your trade, moving between Sikorsky and partner facilities
- Attend theory‐based training to complete apprenticeship unit standards

Qualifications

- Passion for helicopters and aviation
- Self‐motivated and willing to learn
- Ability to meet an Australian Security Clearance
