Our client is a well‐established and market‐leading national civil contractor. They are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager to join their growing business.

n

Our client provides services across a number of industry sectors such as building construction, industrial, mining & resources, transport infrastructure, environmental, etc., and you will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of challenging projects.

n

Types of projects include demolition, excavation, retention, piling, foundations, ground improvement, soft and hard landscaping, site remediation and rehabilitation etc. Typical values range from $2.5m to $25m but can go up to $50m.

n

Projects are located in Brisbane QLD.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Working on tenders
n
- Planning and scheduling of construction activities
n




- Management of site project teams
n
- Quality Assurance, Cost and Time Management
n
- Preparation of management reports
n
- Resolving site issues in a timely manner
n
- Liaising with key clients and stakeholders
n
- Coordinating internal and external resources
n
- Recruitment and mentoring of teams
n

n

Qualifications and Requirements

n

n
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar
n
- 5 – 15+ years' management experience on civil construction projects with a project value of $5m to $20m+
n
- Project management qualifications will be advantageous
n
- Proven understanding of construction with a hands‐on approach
n
- Proven ability to effectively lead and delegate
n
- Effective problem‐solving abilities
n
- Ability to resolve conflict and manage client expectations
n
- High level of organisation and time‐management skills
n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
n
